The Greeneville City Schools (GCS) Education Foundation and the Greeneville Schools In Action (GSIA) are thrilled to announce the 10th annual Daddy-Daughter Dance on Saturday, February 7th, from 7-9PM. The dance will be held in the GHS Gymnasium.
Advance tickets will go on sale Monday, January 26th at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center (NPAC) ticket office. Box office hours are M-F, 10am – 5pm. Advance tickets are $10 and may be purchased with cash or check (to GCSEF) - sorry, no credit or debit cards. Tickets will also be available at the door on the night of the dance if venue space allows. Tickets purchased at the door will be $15.00.
This community-wide event has been a sell-out event for the past six years.
Studio H Photography will on-hand to take photographs at the event. The optional portrait packages are reasonably priced and must be paid for (cash or check) on dance night at the time the photos are taken. Portrait information sheets will be included in an information packet that will be provided at the time dance tickets are purchased.
At 7pm, Electric Avenue’s Robbie Britton will kick-off the event with two hours of dance tunes specially selected for the evening.
Several Greeneville area restaurants are offering a variety of “Daddy & Daughter Meal Deals” for those who purchase tickets in advance. These offers are available at suppertime before the dance, on dance night only, to daddies and daughters who show their tickets at the time they place their order. Some restrictions apply – complete details will be available at the time advance tickets are purchased.
In order to commemorate the decade milestone of daddy-daughter memories, GCS Education Foundation and GSIA are interested in any photos community members would like to share. A special collection of memories will be on display at this year’s event. You may share photos through social media or email them to waddella@gcschools.net. To share your photos on twitter tag GCS Education Foundation @gcsedufoundatn with #DDD2015. You may also post your photos to Facebook https://www.facebook.com/GCS.EducationFoundation. For inclusion in the decade photo display, photos must be received by February 3rd, 2014.
Profits from this event help sustain the GCS Education Foundation – GCS HomeLink program, which provides internet connectivity for students-in-need, and the G.S. I. A. scholarship program.
In the unlikely event that inclement weather forces a cancellation, the dance will not be able to be rescheduled. Unfortunately, tickets cannot be returned for refund.
